This Privacy Policy explains how ClipFree ("we", "us") handles information when you visit the ClipFree website, buy ClipFree, or use the ClipFree desktop application.

Your videos stay on your computer

ClipFree performs its core video processing locally on your computer. We do not receive, upload or store the videos you process or the clips you create.

Information we collect

• Website: standard technical data sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our hosting provider may log for security and reliability.
• Purchases: when you buy, our payment provider collects your name, email, billing address and payment details. We receive your email, order details and license status — never your full card number.
• Support: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Licensing: to activate and validate your license, the app may send your license key, email and a device or installation identifier.

Analytics and cookies

The website uses only cookies and similar storage needed for it to work. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Creem, which acts as Merchant of Record and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. Creem handles payments, taxes and invoices for ClipFree orders.

How we use information

• To deliver and activate your license and the software

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party service providers

We keep purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
